Boudoir | Park City, Utah

I am so thrilled to debut my official boudoir photography website: Carla Boecklin Boudoir. The site is a long time in the making, and it’s yet another collaboration with my oft-partner Bryce Johnson.

V & I have been shooting boudoir for years, and it’s actually my favorite type of session (as I mention in this interview). But, no one knows I shoot it because I’ve never advertised! So occasionally I’ll get a client asking me (usually shyly), ‘ummm, I’ve been hearing about this ~boudoir~ thing… do you, ahhhh, do that? What’s it like?!’ and I’m allllll over it immediately, explaining to her why it’s a total blast and something she’ll never regret doing. But it’s always bummed me out that I had no portfolio to show her — or, I’d think of all the women that were going elsewhere with their boudoir queries because I never had anything about it on my site. Since I never blog boudoir sessions (they’re so intimate & private) and rarely post photos from the sessions, how would anyone know these sessions are so close to my heart?

Well, that had to change. I had to get the word (or, SEO, as the case may be) out! Although it was tough to make the time in the midst of a very busy fall season, I made a date with my friends Shawnee and hair & makeup stylist KL Artistry, and I booked an Airbnb Loft, and we shot some teasers to help clients understand what they could expect during a session with me. Best of all, my friend Bryce joined us to shoot a combo behind-the-scenes/sample film, a service you can add-on to your photography session.
