Utah Event Photographer | Gold Creek Farms

Each year, Gold Creek Farms hosts the 4th of July bbq to end all 4th of July bbqs… and last weekend’s Independence Day fete was no different.  In fact, if possible!, it was better than ever.

Oh where to start.  Pony rides. Horse carriage.  Pigs, piglets, and cows (oh my).  Seed-spitting and pie-eating contests.  Potato sack races.  +LIVE MUSIC+.  +PROFESSIONAL DANCERS!!+.  Cornhole.  Gorgeous bbq cuisine.  Fudge, cocktails, lemonade, and ice tea.   A photo booth area.  Canoeing.  Fire pits.  Face-painting.  And, of course, the famous Gold Creek Farms award-winning cheeses, including the debut of a new blue cheese (incredible).

The fun never.ended.  It simply didn’t.  And that made my job so easy — every glance through the viewfinder revealed ten more smiles to capture!  People had the best time, truly, and I just love being a part of all that joy.  The absolute height of being a Utah event photographer.

And I can’t forget how beautiful the property looked.  The social stylings of Emily White (Haute Hostess) crafted the ideal atmosphere with her sophisticated, delightful touches and creative activities.  I think my favorite part was the outdoor lounge, with haybale couches, flower arrangements, and twinkle lights overhead.  No, no — wait.  My favorite was that she brought in ballroom dancers — talents who’d been on Dancing with the Stars!!! — first, to entertain and, then, to teach… just wow.

Such a fabulous event.
