Wish by Haute Hostess | Park City Decor Boutique
My first collaboration with the Haute Hostess herself, Emily White, was nearly five ago. It’s staggering to think how much we’ve worked together in the time since (even getting ourselves featured in a few publications, like here on PopSugar and here on Hello, Wonderful, and here on The Frosted Petticoat).
Emily has easily been the client with whom I’ve worked the most since founding my business, and it’s humbling for me to consider the support she’s continuously given me as I’ve grown in Park City. In many ways, she was the first person to really get me — to fully appreciate what I was going for with my shooting style and my desired clientele. She was also among the first people to notice that we work all.the.time and encourage us to take a little time off now & then. [Ummm, I’m still working on that part.]
When Emily told me last fall that she’d decided to open a brick & mortar party decor boutique, I was so crazy thrilled for her. Her taste is impeccable, and I could only imagine the items that she’d be curating and offering. Furthermore, I *knew* the design of the shop would be something incredible. No, no boring shelves & random product placement for this savvy stylist. Emily hired full-on contractors to gut & re-design the interior of the space to suit her every vision, and the result is nothing short of spectacular, elegant, and exciting. Personal touches like champagne to sip, macarons to nibble, and a Parisian-ish sitting area in the back is unlike anything else you’ll find in Utah.
The name of the shop? WISH by Haute Hostess. Because, honestly, if you can wish it, Emily can make it happen.
What I love most? The word of mouth on all this goodness is simply beyond. It’s already the hottest place in town and the doors haven’t even opened yet (April 1st, my friends!). Everyone that knows Emily & that has ever worked with Emily & that has ever been to a party that Emily designed is simply waiting with bated breath to see all the fabulousness. Myself, of course, included.
I’ve been getting sneak peeks, though, as I’ve been designing/building the website for Wish (and re-designing her Haute Hostess site). Yes, that’s right: in addition to working with me as a photographer, Emily placed her confidence in me to design & build the websites that will reflect her new presence in Park City. I’m so honored/flattered to have had the chance to work with Emily in another capacity and to have been a small part of this booming new aspect of her already flourishing business.
Please check out the WISH by Haute Hostess site here, and the newly re-conceived Haute Hostess site here! And I’m throwing in, below, a smattering of my favorite images/memories from our years of working events together :). CONGRATULATIONS, EMILY, ON ALL THIS SUCCESS!
