Associate Lauren | Utah Photographer

I met Lauren via email in the summer of 2015. Right away, reading her message, I knew she got me. Yes, she understood my shooting style and brand of visual story-telling; but she also got *me*. She’d read my bio and my posts about Victor and really understood me as a person. I kinda sorta totally loved that, and not in a narcissistic way. Rather, it showed me that she seeks out someone’s story with thought & curiosity, and, to me, her approach bodes so well as far as working in this industry.

I love connecting — not social-media-style-‘connecting’ but actually making a connection — with people, and Lauren’s first note to me made me think that I could really connect with this woman. And then she shows up to our first meeting EARLY, with a printed resume AND a laptop slide show of her work? Even though I’d only said, ‘hey, let’s have coffee & a chat?’ This chick is PREPARED and it impressed me enormously. I’ve since noticed that she embarks on every shoot with equal verve, commitment, and professionalism, and I absolutely love that about her.

Oh, and she has a sense of humor. That tickles me, too, and it helps her put clients at ease. I’m so happy to have her on my Utah photographer team — please check out samples of her beautiful, attentive, refreshing work below.
