Bridal Portraits | Wedding Season
TGIF : It’s Friday. Get fired up.
Tis wedding season, and all throughout the photographic community, people are working their tails off.
At this point in the season, I’ve covered several weddings and have, I think, 5 left to go. Three are out of state. One is this weekend at a private estate within one of the most exclusive communities in the country.
I continue to feel raring to go, and I genuinely tackle each wedding with a unique amount of enthusiasm. As the months turn into mere days before the wedding and brides are emailing with last minute questions & we’re mapping out a minute-by-minute schedule for the day, I feel it in my bones. I feel the anticipation, the joy, the spirit, and the beauty (cuz, in complete & utter honesty, every.single.bride is beautiful, whether a $5,000 or $500,000 wedding: her face wears her excitement for This Day, a lifetime in the making).
I also love how collaborative the wedding process is. The Team behind the wedding prep is *your* professional team — the makeup artists, the hair stylist, the florist, the event planner, the jeweler, the caterer, and of course the photographer — we’re all here for YOU, to work jointly to pull off a flawless look and stress-less experience (as much as possible!). And when it all comes together? Just wow. What an experience for all of us, not only the bride :).
So, here’s to mid-2014’s wedding season! Huzzah!
