Gold Creek Farms | Utah Ranch Party
Every July brings a fantabulous mid-summer treat: The Annual Gold Creek Farms (GCF) 4th of July Bonanza! This blow-out Utah ranch party is the event to end all events. For real. Do not pass go; do not collect $200. I’ve covered this event for years now (check out previous parties here and here and here!) and it just keeps getting better.
A teeny tiny taste of the Day? A petting zoo (ummm, hello piglets? LAMBS??! I just can’t handle the cuteness). Mechanical bull rides. Potato sack races. Face painting. A hay-bale bistro-lit lounge. Canoe rides. Not one but TWO live bands (Artie Hemphill & the Ironhorse Band brings the house down every time). Professional dancers (latin, breakdancing, line dancing — you name it!). Pony rides. Even hula-hooping. Plus awesome food & drink. Everyone shows up in their American best, rocking cowboy boots, hats, handkerchiefs… and their dancing shoes! This year’s party brought out a dazzling array of fireworks, accompanied by s’mores and sparklers. I mean, really.
Emily White of Haute Hostess styles/plans this enormous ranch event every year, and I’m always blown away by her creativity, energy, and passion for always making the day unique and, above all, super fun for all ages involved. Congratulations on another incredible Independence Day, GCF!
