Nashville Engagement | Leiper’s Fork Cuteness

Last summer, I photographed this jaw-dropping wedding (featured in Style Me Pretty) at Aspen Meadows, a property in Utah’s exclusive Wolf Creek Ranch. The Day was amazing, which was awesome (of course), but my favorite part of the experience was getting to know the couple (Lauren & Robbie). Although it’s been well over a year since we worked together, we’ve been in touch — even talked about visiting each other! I LOVE that part of my job: meeting genuinely wonderful people.

When Lauren mentioned that she was referring one of her friends to me (also a Lauren), I was pretty fired up. I couldn’t imagine Lauren (#1 — Lauren W) connecting me with anyone that was less than fabulous, so I was very fired up to meet Lauren (#2 — Lauren M). Over email — before we even MET — I was super into this woman; and meeting her in person during a Park City visit was even better. Not only is she a powerhouse successful entrepreneur/small business owner, but she’s also FUN with a hilarious sense of humor and a way of making people around her feel comfortable. Her fiance is equally as savvy (also operating/growing his own business — recently on the cover of the Columbia Business Times) and possesses a sarcasm that is **right** up my alley (he got me laughing about something — one of those residual chuckles that creeps up on you & then you keep thinking about it for weeks… I’m actually laughing right now as I type this out).

They are from Missouri, and we decided to meet up in Nashville for an engagement shoot in November when V & I were going to be in Tennessee. Such a great decision (and opportunity). We kicked back, drank some Natty Lights, got to know one another, and, oh yeah, had a fantastic photo shoot in Leipers Fork surrounded by fall foliage. I loved every moment of it. Thank you, Lauren M & Stephen, for making the trek for the shoot; and thank you, Lauren W, for bringing us together!
