Phillip Seymour Hoffman (1967-2014)

Nothing more to write at the moment except that I hope he’s found peace.  Addiction is brutal… and so many other adjectives… but now’s not the time for commentary.  I believe he’s one of the greatest character actors of my lifetime and his capacity to lose himself in his performances was astounding.

I’m grateful to have had the chance to photograph him, what?, ten days ago (?!) and sit in for a few of his interviews with other media.

What a loss.
