Pittsburgh Family in Park City | Holiday Photos

A family reunion/vacation + a 40th wedding anniversary? Yes! When the family turns out to be absolutely amazing? YES PLEASE… and may I have another?!?!?

For this celebratory vacay, everyone came in from out of state (Pittsburgh and Chicago, which was my home before Park City), and I always enjoy meeting people that choose to spend their precious free time in our little mountaintown. This family was doing it up right, too, with all kinds of fabulous plans while they were here (including a dinner at Tupelo, which recently opened to stellar reviews).

V & I knew prior to arriving at their just-off-Main-Street vacation home that there were going to be several young children, so we figured there’d be some action (kids keep it lively!). But we couldn’t have anticipated the sheer cuteness of these little ones (choo choo sweaters! pink bows! cowboy boots! kisses + spins + smiles + hugs! STARS ON THE KNEES!). And we really couldn’t have guessed that this group of people would be so… everything. Relaxed, talented, interesting, interested, generous, bright. And fun. A list of adjectives don’t properly summarize how much I liked them. Leaving the shoot, I felt lit up inside, and all I knew is that I wished they were locals so I could get to know them better.
