TGIF :: It’s Friday.  Get fired up.

It’s Cookie Time!

I’ve lived in Park City for two years.  Which is wild, cuz it simultaneously feels like forever and only yesterday that I discovered this little town and said to V, ‘we’re moving here.’

The thing is, though, I haven’t gotten to know that many people.  I meet people constantly — I get to interact with really amazing individuals and families all the time — but I don’t all that often socialize with Park City peeps.

So, I was particularly thrilled — like, all-lit-up-inside excited — when a client-cum-friend, Jody, invited me to her & her sister’s annual holiday party.  Ladies only, no less, so V had to wait at home (…or drop me off & wander the aisles of Staples to his heart’s content, which he did).

Based on the little time we’ve known each other, I adore Jody, and I already knew that I love love love one of Jody’s friends (Sarah, whose family I’ve also photographed), so I was fired up to meet the rest of her female crew.  My full report?  Holy SHIZ.  There are some seriously a w e s o m e women in Park City that I’ve never met.  These ladies… how do I sum them up without sounding like a thesaurus?  Smart.  Friendly.  Engaging.  Active.  Funny.  Fun.  And INTERESTING.  Everyone I met had all kinds of stories about how they ended up in Park City, what they do for a living, how they spend their free time, where they’re from or where they’re going… I mean, it’s like I stepped on a landmine of awesome and it exploded all around me at a home in Silver Creek.

Thank you guys for including me in your get together!  It was seriously fantastic to be a part of the evening :).
