Iowa Wedding Photographer :: Kim + John Teaser
We were recently in Iowa City, Iowa, to photograph a special wedding. Special for many reasons, one of which being that the bride was my roommate for several years in Chicago and, also, a fellow student in my masters program at Northwestern. SO, basically, we spent a helluva lot of time together during years that were trying for us both, and, in a way, we’re like family because we weren’t merely friends but two people that saw each other through thick & thin.
To see her so happy & fulfilled is emotional for me. She’s settled into her skin thoughtfully, and beautifully, and it’s amazing. And to watch her walk down the aisle made me feel like… oh, I don’t know. Chapters were ending; and beginning even stronger. She’s found her perfect match, and I couldn’t be more thrilled.
