Park City Mountain Resort Wedding | Fall

Park City resorts + love sweet love = one beautiful wedding.

I met Willa over a year before her wedding took place.  She was researching, planning, perfecting… she knew what she wanted, and it all sounded marvelous.  I wanted to be a part of this wedding!  And, awesomely, we booked her engagement session, which we shot right away.  She’s a beautiful woman (like, seriously scroll through these photos — she looks downright regal), and I couldn’t wait to see her on the Day — and I was even more fired up when she told me that she was getting a CUSTOM MADE DRESS.  Like, oh wow. [Thank you, Betsy Couture, for all that you do to make brides so happy & glamorous!]

The day itself made the most of Park City, for sure — we were allllll over town!  Willa got ready at the St. Regis Deer Valley, which is also where we did some bridals (that lobby is ridiculous fantastic).  Rocky prepped at their apartment, which we visited to get some shots of him & his boys (including Willa’s nephew, who later walked her down the aisle).  The First Look was in downtown Park City at “the bridge,” which is part of a ski run in the winter that runs over Park Street but, in the summer/fall, is a pedestrian bridge.  We took all wheel drive vehicles to Alpine Meadows at Park City Mountain Resort for the ceremony and then were transported by more vehicles to PCMR’s Mid-Mountain Lodge for cocktails and the reception.

Willa’s vision for the Day was brought to life by PlanIt PC, event designers that I’ve proudly worked with numerous times.  Their guidance and expertise crafted an unforgettable experience not only for Willa & Rocky, but also for their guests (check out those VIEWS below!).

If I had to pin down a favorite part of this celebration — which is hard to do among the incredible people, venues, vendors, and, even, weather that came together to make the Day so much fun — I’d have to say that it was the bride herself.  Willa is a special lady with the biggest heart imaginable; just, easy to adore and, more than a fantasy client, a friend in the making.  It was an honor to capture such a memorable time for her.
