OC Tanner & Roberto Coin | Salt Lake City Event Photographer

About six months ago, I photographed one of the most chic holiday parties I’ve ever seen. Highly sophisticated architecture, brilliant decorations, fabulous people, and, the highlight!, gorgeous jewelry. OC Tanner knows how to throw an amazing bash.

I was thrilled when they asked if I’d photograph yet another one of their unique events — this time, a private dinner event with the acclaimed Italian jewelry designer, Roberto Coin at Franck’s in Holladay, Utah. Hundreds of thousands of dollars of the most breathtaking jewelry ever crafted, fine food, and an enthusiastic crowd? Absolutely.

While women bedecked themselves in astonishing bracelets, rings, necklaces, and earrings, champagne & italian sodas were flowing and delectable edibles were offered around the room. I know the jewelry was the focus point, but I couldn’t help but also marvel at the table settings & beautiful centerpieces (I’m a sucker for the details!).

Roberto was so much fun — warm, gracious, and passionate — and it was remarkable to watch him style his own pieces on adoring clients. Just… wow. What a spectacular evening.
