Springtime Family Session | Park City Utah
A while back, I got an email from a family that had just moved to Wyoming from the south (hello, culture shock!). They were looking for a family photographer and had somehow — thankfully! — stumbled upon my site. They figured they’d make a weekend out of a trip to Park City (Wyoming is Utah’s neighbor to the north) and include our photo shoot while they were in town. I love love love that they thought to do a shoot while they were visiting, and I super love that they ended up finding me & V.
We booked the shoot to take place upon me & V’s return from Europe (we were gone for a month visiting V’s family & working on a few projects), which ended up being perfect timing for the family as well. When they rolled up to the White Barn wearing hues of blue and white, I was gleeful — so perfectly spring-y and pretty against the newly fallen snow on the budding green grass. Clouds overhead sealed the deal as far as gorgeous lighting, but the kicker was the complete + utter sweetness that flowed from this family. The two boys introduced themselves to me with confidence and enthusiasm (adorbs), the baby was too precious for words (just bouncy & happy the whole time, even in the cold), and the parents couldn’t have been more authentically nice people (easy-going, upbeat, and kind kind kind). Plus, they knew how to bring out the giggles in the kiddos in a way that thrills any photographer, which made the shoot not only fun but also a total pleasure.
OH, and the boots. I’m seriously loving all the boots.
So excited to share these today. 🙂
