Sundance Wedding
When I first branched into wedding photography, I longed for a Sundance wedding. While I hoped it would be in my cards one day, I never dreamed that I’d get to work with such a sophisticated, loving couple and such incredibly talented vendors, led by gifted event planner Emily White of Haute Hostess.
So, this wedding was fantasyland in every way. Elegant colors and stylings set against the rustic authenticity of Robert Redford’s resort in the Timpanogos. A golden cake — like, literally covered in flecks of gold. Flowers like I’ve never seen (Flower Afternoon, you nailed it, as always). And, of course, the presence of true love. After all, *that’s* the part that makes a wedding special.
I’m so thrilled to share these (yes, there are a lot; I had a hard time narrowing them down!). The event was a feast for the eyes and the heart, and I felt so glamorous capturing it.
More than anything else, I’m so thrilled to have been chosen to work with this beautiful couple. The were easy, patient, enthusiastic, and willing — a complete dream for me, both before and all throughout their Day. At weddings, tension can run high, and people can get edgy. But, these two were nothing but gracious, appreciative, and so much fun to follow around :).
